Nominations Open: June 30th
Nominations Close: August 2nd
Winners notified: August 15th
Awards Program: October 14th 3:30pm-5pm

Lodging registration closes September 1st.  It's important that award recipients requiring lodging secure them promptly after being notified.  For Team Awards up to two persons will receive complimentary registration to the event.

Who’s eligible?

Nominees must have been employed in the relevant category by a public safety agency at any time between July 1, 2024, and June 30, 2025. Nominees do not have to be members of APCO. They must work or reside within the boundaries of the Mid Eastern APCO Chapter Territories, which include Washington, DC, Maryland, and Delaware.

What do the award winners receive?

ECC Award recipients will enjoy free registration to our annual Fall conference. and a plaque  The 2025 Fall conference will be held in Ocean City, Maryland, October 14-16, 2025 (for team awards, up to two persons receive complimentary registration). On Tuesday, October 14, we will honor each award recipient during our Annual Public Safety Awards Ceremony. They will also be featured on our website and throughout social media.

When are the award winners announced?

The Awards Committee will submit its final selections to the Board by the August 15th. Once approved, award recipients will be immediately notified. Room block closes September 1st
